This 5th annual event is FREE to the public and offers activities for children and adults including musical entertainment, door prizes, face-painting, and over 50 of the latest Virginia authors and books, as well as a cool air-conditioned, smoke-free environment for a hot summer day of fun.

Upon arriving at the festival, sign up for the
 RACING TO READ BICYCLE RACE!
Entry Fee:  $2/person

Road bikes will be placed on stationary stands and connected to equipment to measure wattage produced by pedaling.

The racer who produces the most energy will be declared the winner and will receive a cash prize (50% of total entry fees) and a bundle of books.

LIVE AUCTION of an autographed hardcover copy of David Baldacci's novel, Simple Genius, as well as other autographed books by popular author's including Mary Higgins Clark, Carol Higgins Clark, and Patricia Cornwell!

MEET ROSE BONO, the winner of the 2010 HBF College Scholarship. Rose will be attending the Hanover Book Festival on August 7 to receive her certificate.
