AGENT AND EDITOR CONSULTATIONS!

In addition to the workshops, we have an agent and an editor ready to help you with your writing projects.

Leslie Truex, Agent:  Leslie is an author, an author coach, and a literary agent with Blue Ridge Literary Agency, representing mostly romance and YA fiction. She enjoys sharing her insights and experiences to help emerging authors get their books published and will be available at the book expo to meet with you for a 10-minute consultation to give advice on query letters or elevator pitches. Make an appointment to meet with her at the expo, bring your query letter for review, or give her your best elevator pitch for your book. She will give you advice on how you did and let you know if she is interested in your project. Even if she cannot represent your work, her advice will be valuable in helping you pursue other representation. To make your appointment, send an email to joliggan@gmail.com

April Michelle Davis, Editor:  April Michelle is a professional editor with Editorial Inspirations, providing exceptional editing, indexing, and proofreading to both publishers and authors. The scope of services includes book editing, copyediting, line editing, developmental editing, manuscript submissions, and critiques. She will be available at the book expo to meet with you for a 10-minute consultation. To obtain your consultation, send your first 1,000 words of your manuscript to april@editorialinspirations.com. There is a $25 fee for this service which she will collect from you after receiving your email. She will then edit your work and give you a time during the expo to meet with you for the consultation.
